Womens Cell

The college has established Women Cell for women faculty, staff, and female students with the goal of establishing CM College as a robust hub for gender sensitization and women empowerment. The cell organises and takes part in seminars and speeches, addresses women’s issues, and aims to raise knowledge of women’s rights and duties. Additionally, it gives students a forum to express their opinions and experiences about their place in society as well as ideas for self-improvement and empowerment.

The cell supports women’s empowerment by facilitating awareness campaigns, entrepreneur training, life skill development, guest lectures, seminars, and other programmes with the goal of academic and social upliftment for female students. The cell seeks to develop a gender-sensitive campus environment and society. Its members include both College staff and students. Through college students, the cell organises diverse academic, technological, medical, cultural, and social activities to support women and raise awareness of the true value of gender equality in society. The institution also conducts gender audit to promote and maintain gender equity, and takes appropriate measures, as and when necessary.
